Yearly, we have set September 1 – September 7 to be our Uniformed Ministry annual week of prayer. This prayer week is to prepare for the new year. We invite Directors, Councillors, Parents and Guardians, and any Master Guides / Pathfinders / Adventurers who can join in and pray for the ministry and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the coming year. We send out daily devotions (sign up for our email list here) and ask if people can pray at least at one of the following times. 6 a.m., 12 noon, 6 p.m., or any other time that works for you. We will meet on the 7th at 6 p.m. to pray together to end the week of prayer. Below are the Zoom details.
We are praying for:
- A personal encounter with Jesus for Parents, Directors, Councilors, Conference leaders, and, most importantly, the Kids,
- Gillette, funds, logistics, visas, traveling mercies, and a life-changing experience that will make all involved get closer to Jesus.
- All planned activities, camporees, fun days, bible experiences, classes, drill, field trips, and hangouts
- The Uniform Ministry in Alberta at large.
- Giving thanks for all the many blessings God has given to us
